Notes for Application!

TMAGC Scholarships are intended for students who would be unable to achieve their career goal without financial assistance.
Applicants must be Indian citizens and the applicant must have been accepted for admission at a university or college. Only those applicants who have been accepted for admission at a university or college will be considered for short listing. Short listing is based on the TMAGC committee decision.
Applicants must provide all the required documents to TMAGC in the format mentioned for processing the scholarship grant application. Applications for the grants should be submitted as early as possible.
Short listed applicants will be invited for an interview in-person or over the phone. Applicants cannot be considered for scholarship without an interview.
Applicants who are interviewed and subsequently offered a TMAGC Scholarship for entry in a university/college for a given academic year are not permitted to defer the award. Any student unable to commence at the academic institution concerned will lose his/her scholarship.
Applicants once enrolled at the relevant college/university through TMAGC scholarship grant, cannot apply for another TMAGC scholarship grant as that would interfere with the tenure of the Original Scholarship.
TMAGC Scholarship students are expected to complete their course of study within the time frame set by the individual universities. Additional funding for an extension to enable a student to complete their course of study is generally not granted unless under exceptional circumstances.
It is the expectation of the TMAGC Committee that candidates who have benefited from TMAGC grants shall support future needy candidates when they complete their courses and join the workforce.

Requested documents (Mandatory)

Educational background: Mark sheets of 10th & 12th classes and college degree certificate, if any
Extra curricular activities certificates, if any
Additional courses / training certificates
Copy of ration card / passport / Election ID card
If currently enrolled at any university or college, provide details like admission notice, letter from the college, etc.

Supporting Documents:

Letter from the education institution where you had previously studied, that you are a candidate of that school/college and the year passed out.
Letter from the local masjid or recognized Islamic organization/ institute where you are a resident, validating that you are from that community and the number of years you have lived there.
Proof of Admission to an academic institute / college or Proof of current enrolment in an educational institution; details of fee schedules for the admitted course, and the duration of the course.
Completed TMAGC Scholarship Application Form (first 4 pages of the form)
